Cooling fan stay on constantly. Please help!
I have a 92 Bonneville SE and both cooling fans run all the time. I used a code reader and it came up with code 15- “coolant temp. sensor fault – signal voltage high.” So I changed the sensor and unplugged the battery for about an hour to reset the ECM. The fans still run and the code is still there. Does anyone know why the fans would run all the time? the fans run even when the engine is off and cold and the ign. is on.
To fix this? Find the broken wire.
The fans will stay on after ignition off after a certain temp is reached. I forget how hot. Service manual has this information. With the ECT reading open (high) it thinks it'* at this temp constantly.
Can someone give him the pins and connectors on the 93 PCM for the inputs to the ECT SINCE DRJAY STILL HAS MY FSM'* IN WASHINGTON?
