Default Greasing an Alternator/ stuttering

I went and picked up an alternator from a yard (rusted, but for free) and as i was coming back from the yard (gets kinda weird) and the car would studder for a split second and then go back to regular operating power, it basically knocks back to its regular power.
While idling the voltage occasionally swings to battery power and sometimes cuts out, and when braking to a stop she'll cut out on me (my guess the brake lights arent helping, when engaged)

Anywho my guess is the alternator but the one i got is rusted a bit at the pulley and blade, is it possible to grease the bearings on it? i never taken one apart

I would personally take it into autozone or somewhere, purchase a rebuilt one with a warranty and trade in the rusted one as a core deposit and sleep soundly knowing my car isn't going to die on me.

That don't sound like a alt problem. That sounds like a loss of power problem. Inspect the battery cables. Something might be loose and cutting out.
