ABS problem and still a humming noise from the front........
Well I replaced my hub bearing on the front left tire. I found out someone disconnected the abs plug and taped it up. I put everything back together and pluged in the sensor on my new hub. Well the abs light did come off. The only problem is that I tested out the abs with half my tires on the grass pressing the brake hard and it worked. The only problem is that after I let off the brake the brakes stuck and kept stuck and coudn't move good at all. I unpluged the abs sensor again and its back to normal (no abs tho). After I replaced the hub I still have that grinding noise comming from the front it seems. If I turn left the noise stops. If I turn right it stays. Sounds so much like its comming from the front. I dont have a torque wrench so I had to guess with the spindle nut but even if it was to tight the sound woulda stopped by replacing that hub right? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I would get back to the parts store and borrow a torque wrench and socket asap. The last hub I did called for 180ft-lbs and thats beyond normal 'tight' ; thats approaching Holy Cow! Not torquing the hub properly will kill the hub quick.
