Cooant temp sensor? Maybe or maybe not....
Figured I'd make a new post, instead of adding on to an old one.
My car is STILL stalling. But, I actually sat in my driveway while it was running and noticed exactly when it stalls. Right when it reaches 200 degrees. the minute it drops below, it will start right up and run fine. But the very minute it gets to 200, it dies, as if you're turning the key off. if i try to start it before it drops below 200, it will just crank and crank.
can a bad coolant temp sensor cause this??

There are two sensors in your year. One for the pcm and one for the gauge.
Chris..you've had so many issues..have you considered it might be a pcm?

i have considered that. if it is just the pcm....why couldn't two mechanics figure that out? lol. i think i will make a call to the junk yard i use to work at, and just get a pcm. they're easy enough to replace.

The thing with pcm'* is they never say "Hey..I'm bad" typically they make the car act crazy and drive the mechanic to drinking before realizing what has happened.
Your car seems to suffer many problems...that aren't always easy fixes.
Mayhisnamebelonger'* 95pcm wouldn't let him into closed loop
Peterthepainters 92 pcm caused a ton of KR and probably cost him an engine
Then we saw a rash of 94/95'*...
It'* tough to say why or what it'll manifest itself as and there'* guarantee that your current issue is pcm. But...who knows
