I am not quite sure what you are after. First you ask for stronger springs, then you ask to have the original ride back, which, being an SE, is soft and squishy. Are you looking for more lift, firmer ride, or something different?

Also, which FDR does your car have? Again, being an SE, it could have the 2.84 FDR, which is a tall gearing to begin with, that will only get worse with bigger wheels and tires.

Finally, what are you looking to accomplish with the Series III UIM? If it'* aesthetics, it can be modified to work (not sure what all is involved), but if it'* purely mechanical, then you would be better off with a sleeved UIM. Also I am not sure on the oil pan. Yes it will bolt to the engine most likely, but I am not aware if there is an issue in the car itself that will prevent it from being used. I recall oil pans needing to be swapped over on some engine swaps, and I don't remember the reasons why.

Being a 95 like the one I had, he probably has 3.06 final drive. Even with that gearing and 205HP, he'* not gonna break traction with bling bling rims.

Series 3 intake will not give you any gains in power. Its just an upgraded intake that doesn't fail like the Series 2 intakes do. If you want more power, swap out the engine and trans with a 1996 Series 2 L67 supercharged engine. You will need the PCM and harness because the software in the 95 PCM can't be changed to run a supercharged engine.

Like Randall said, you are not going get the original ride feeling back with stiffer bigger springs(I doubt they make them anyway) so the point is moot.

Why are you looking for a bigger oil pan?

bling bling rims lol....rims arent even on any more and havent been for a few years.... FDR is 3.06....I know swapping out intake will not gain any power...its just to get rid of plastic UIM for a nice upgrade....where did you get im looking for a bigger oil that we know doesnt exist...im just looking for compatable parts...the aluminum oil pan is what im referring to! my steel one has a dent so i feel its starving for oil.
only asking about the springs because of the spongy ride...the options for the rack on these cars are F1 for soft ride..and if im not mistaken F2 F3 are are more handling and stabilty. so yes im looking for a more firmer ride and better cornering. i have the option to turn trac on or off ans still cant even get a minor screech from the tires.

If you can get the whole donor car, you should be able to do the swap no problem, aside from the possible odds and ends mounts. I don't think the dash swap would work out however, it'* a completely different animal, and likely more closely aligned with the 2000-2005 Bonnevilles. But as many have said, where there is a will, there'* a way.

Well, you were going off on a tangent and speaking ebonics. I only assumed something different about the oil pan...you didn't specify.

Before contemplating a swap, what tools do you have?

A 2002 computer system will not work in a 95 platform. This is where I tell you to get a clue because you obviously can't fathom the different years and platform changes from year to year. This is pretty much a general maintenance forum. Gone are the days of extreme modifications. And so are the experienced staff that have done swaps like this. We don't have the staff or manpower to baby sit this project for you. Save us the trouble and just buy a newer car.

While I disagree with the delivery method of Mike'* concerns, he does bring up some good points.

In the years I have been on this board (and yes, MY join date IS accurate, and NOT artificially inflated), I can count on one hand the number of people that have done a swap that entails the amount of work you will need to do. They all figured most of it themselves, and only came for help with minor details that they couldn't figure out. Everyone that has done these swaps that I am aware of have since moved on. You would be looking at a full drivetrain/computer swap, and it would be necessary to integrate much of the newer components on the current car. This is no small feat by any magnitude.

As far as suspension, you can either get junkyard parts, or go full custom. The latter would help you to get exactly what you want. 95naSTA has extensive experience in the lowering department, however he doesn't stop by much anymore, if at all. He currently runs a '95 SLE that has a 6 speed manual swapped in, along with much much more custom work.

Back in their day, the '95 tended to run a bit zestier than the '96-'05 NA Bonnevilles, because the computer wasn't holding the engine back quite as much with torque management.

I also have to question what you have as far as tools, work area, scanners, etc.

How does one artificially inflate a join date?

I haven't tried to do it myself, but it requires web host level access to the forum database from what I understand.
