There has been some discussions on the value and benefit to going to a ram air intake. It'* been pretty well shot down that a ram air will not give you much gain or performance, until you hit the 1120mph+. A cold air intake is pretty much the agreed upon best performance add on.

And in track terms, that means you need something that can hit that speed at the 1/8 mile or less to make a difference in the 1/4 mile. That exclude'* any production vehicles. But for looks, Nothing is out there Bonneville specific. Some have used from other Pontiac models, others out of a custom catalog. I think it can have be of use in that it would keep the engine comparment/supercharger alot cooler.

I agree

It would be very hard to overcome a Supercharger by having a ram air hood

Though it would look pretty cool if done right.

Just don't buy those cheap stick-on fake scoops cause you would look like a Danthurs want a be......wooo

ouch...jk Dan

Scoops on the hood look great to if they are mounted right. Dan'* looks right for his car because that is the look he went with.
Todd.

No one makes a ram air hood for the Bonneville. You have to make your own.
