Default 92 to 95??

hey i was wondering if it would be possible to take a 92 bonnie ssei drive train and put it into a 95 bonnie se? would it be possible maybe if i took out the wiring or something and transferred it?..

Most of the wiring shoudl be the same. The major differences in those years is that the 92 had a smaller throttle body and uncoated supercharger rotors.

Is the 95 supercharged? Yes it is possible, but I don't see much reason for the swap in all honesty. You are going to gain only torque, hp numbers are the same from the factory. That does not include gremlins from the swap. The usual swap is to grab a series 2 supercharged and stuff it in there, but even then, it is easier, and many times cheaper, to sell what you have and buy what you want.

Yeah, being you have a 92 SSEi and a 95 SE, unless the 95 is Supercharged, it really isn't too big of a benefit. Your power band would be in a slightly different location, your torque would be slightly higher, and you would need to now run premium fuel.

Can it be done, sure. Swap the wiring and computer and trans over, and you should be set (you may have to swap other parts from the 92, but not sure what all that would be)

If your SE is supercharged, and needs a new bottom end, then the 92 bottom end will work, but I would swap the 95 Supercharger, TB, and some sensors on there, as there is a difference in those parts from 92-93 and 94-95.
