choppy ride, hops over bumps
well, I've been having this issue for quite some time. As I mentioned a month ago, I had my front sway bar repaired, and the cars handles much better, but I am still having an issue,
When driving on choppy pavement, the car has a sort of "pogo" effect. It "hops" and "jumps" to the side over sharp bumps. The car becomes very unstable.
And it'* not that the struts are soft. The front end as as stiff as can be, too stiff. I cannot make it bounce, and the whole jumping thing feels like something is frozen. There is little body roll. The rear is much softer, but it DOES pass the bounce test, although I hear some weird creaking noises over dips from time to time. It'* still the front that feels unstable.
I always thought this car rode a lot choppier than a Bonneville should. It floats like your typical H-Body, but the little bumps...aren't well absorbed IMO. I have driven other H-bodies and they ride much smoother. struts?

there is also too much steering feedback IMO, it likes to move around over choppy pavement.
could the rear struts make the front feel unstable?
