Code 24 and 33 CCR

So I have a code 24, and 33. R F actuator problem and driver control error. Any ideas on the best corse of action from here?

they could be old and stored. Clear them and see if they reoccur.

Can you direct me to the form that tells me how to do that? Or can you tell me how?

The error codes can be cleared by grounding the diagnostic enable circuit pin C to pin A of the ALDL connector three times (for approximately one second duration each) within 30 seconds. The control module indicates codes clear by turning the error lamp off for one second. The codes are not cleared when the battery or control module connectors are disconnected.

use pins 3 and 4 for this procedure, per fsm

code 33 is "drive select switch input error", this code is set if both switch inputs are open or closed at the same time for more than 3 sec. consecutively.

If it won't clear, ditch the system. It's too expensive and troublesome to maintain. It's not really very effective anyway.

When I clear the codes do I need to have the key in the on possissoin? and if so does it matter how long do I have from when I turn the key on to clear the codes?

Yes, turn the key on or the system (and all the other accessories) won't have power. Just turn it on, and follow his instructions. Don't get too hopeful. The system is an under-achiever and a very expensive proposition to maintain. Try over 400 bucks for a new strut. ;)
