Hey, Pat...I was looking at that picture, and did you know that your oil pressure gauge is pegged at 120?

Does this mean you're going to leave it that way, or that in comparson you'll take that over other problems?

LMFAO...and, yes this is a simple fix, and rather have that go bad than something major....

Thats interesting. I had the same thing with mine and it lasted about 4 weeks from the day I picked it up. When I picked it up I noticed the oil pressure pegged to 120psi, and I was like "at least it has good oil pressure". LOL 4 weeks later and pop! Oil pouring everywhere. I thought there was a hole in the block! The sending unit was broke and started spewing oil everywhere. I had it fixed and now I have 40psi at idle and 60psi driving. Sorry it had to happen to you too. I am just glad it didn't happen where I was earlier in the day or I would have maybe ran out of oil and blew the motor!

Hey Boosty, is that Check Gauges light on due to the high oil pressure light?

Mine starting jumping up on the way home from a long trip last night. I'll probably just drive it until it stops doing that. It'* one of those things that I have a feeling will just go away if I ignore it. That seems to work on lots of things on my cars. They are almost self-repairing. if it continues after a month or so, I'll consider changing the sender.
