Default Climate swap?

WIl la 98 style climate control fit into a 93 easily? The controls work the same way, and are located in the same areas, but they look a lil better, and the big one... the dials light up.

My computer here at work says that only 92-93 will interchange. So something must function differently with it, though it looks the same and fits the same. It'* not.

I thought about that. But that is one heck of a job. I asked the dealer, on here and people on teh street about that change and the result weren't pretty.

Swapping in an ECC is going to be about 5x as hard and involved as swapping in a HUD. And you'll lose manual control of which vents you want

My computer doesn't specify what it different on them or what changed, but just says that 92-93 only work in a 93 bonne. Could just be just different components.
