Check engine light stays on
 

Is it norm for the engine light on a 94 Bonneville SE to always stay on? We just bought it the other day, we love it, it rides good,, but the check engine light stays on. Why?

Can you go to a autozone and have them scan the car? Without a code we have no idea what's wrong. Many times a loose or leaking gas cap can cause a light to go on.

you should never buy a car with a cel.
also you can't get it to pass inspection with a cel...

maybe your gas cap isnt tight enough
