can i do this with out breaking anything or ruining my rear suspension.?

haha...well i believe the maximum you are supposed to be in there according the the owners manual is like just under 200 lbs i believe? im not exactly sure how much a transmission weighs though..i once hauled around 400 lbs in my trunk for over 20 miles...and it recovered just fine...stopped horribly and understeered like mad though....personally i think itll be just fine.

the cover is plastic.

I HIGHLY doubt you will hurt anything. I have had my car loaded to the point where you couldn't see the tips of the tires, when kneeling 5 feet away from the car.

I've carried one in the trunk of my 1996 se w/o ELC. It was fine, but seriously take out anything you like in the trunk, and all the carpet. The dumbass I picked my tranny up from wasn't nice enough to drain the fluid. So I had a spare tire well full of fluid. You do have to take off the dipstick though.

everything so its just the bare metal, or leave the spare in?
