Default beeping driving me nuts

I just replace the master cylinder.
Blood the brakes. Everything looks fine. Then went for a drive and the brake light was on and started beeping like mad.

Is it possible the connection on the break master cylinder is causing this issue?

This is a new part not be a. But it looks like the connector will not sleep all the way in even with pin straight.

any ideas? Thank you

First off, if the brake light is on and it is beeping, do not drive the car. That annoying sound is telling you the brake system has a critical failure.

Go back over everything you did and check your work.

Thanks 2kg

Is there a logic chart that shows what causes it to beep?

All I did was inspect the brakes for leaks, when I couldn't find any I looked at the master cylinder that was leaking, and replaced it after benchbleeding the new one.

Then bled all the brakes.

It didn't give me this much grief when the bad cylinder had ran out of fluid.

Yeesh!

Hey Carl,

I do have ABS. I did not reblead with the engine running. Does that make a big difference?
I have a solid pedal and the vacuum does work.

In my opinion the sensor is bad. I believe it'* intended to tell you when you are low on fluid. I'm at max.

well you said the connector wont go in right, you have to figure out why, difficult to see over the internet.

Yes. It fits through the pins but the connector doesn't click.

It does work properly because when I disconnect the connector it stops beeping.

Is there any tests for the sensor?

really dont know much about a 93. but if you have good petal and fluid is good, is there a proportioning valve that had to be reset, some have a black thing on the end. some of the older ones just need a couple good panic stops to reset everything

If the beeping stops when the connector is disconnected, and the fluid is full, then it would be safe to assume, you have a bad float in the reservoir.

I just logged in to ask a similar question. I had a hole in my break line and we fixed it last (Feb 2) and bled the breaks from rear-pass to front-driver. All was good until today. My light came and it started dinging. The fluid hasn't dropped any and The brakes feel fine, so it sounds like a similar issue. I would like to know your resolution. Before it was fixed, it was pretty much completely out of fluid so maybe the float got stuck?
