Default Charcoal Canister and Purge Shutoff Switch

Does anyone know anything about this? Would it cause bad performance, I noticed mine isnt even bolted on... As much details as possible so I know how to fix it.. thanks again guys

Probably wouldn't cause problems. You may notice a gasoline stink around the engine if the system is compromised or has any openings in it.
