need one more bit of info fast
i live in cold climate washington its never 100 here will the 180 stat affect my car in the cold weather will it alloy my engine to get to temp or will i just get crappy gas milage

The 180 T stat wil be fine in winter. Basically the difference between the 180 T-stat and the normal 195 T stat is that the valve on the stat opens at a lower temp then the stock ones.. as for warm ups it will not affect it since the coolant hasn't reached 180 F. so therefore the valves is close thus not allowing your coolant to circulate to the rad.. as soon as it reaches the right temp.. it will open, and by that time.. you're engine will be warm enough
