Default Can't find a CV shaft for a 1999 SSEI

I baught a damaged 1999 SSEI Supercharged. Had a destroyed right cv shaft. I ordered a new one and during installation I found the tranny extension was cracked. Took 2 weeks to get a new one, in the mean time I returned the old cv shaft for the core, as it was like a $150 core. Finally got all the parts and starting putting it together the other night, cv shaft is wrong. I returned it and have since ordered 3 different ones all being wrong, and I already sent the core back and cannot show them what it should look like. Anyone got a CV shaft or one you could take a picture of so I can show them and maybe find the right shaft? What I have run into it the whole end of the shaft where the bearing rides and the splines are is the same size all the way, and the shafts they keep sending me and saying are right are much smaller spline size. So what the ?

Check on Rockauto for the shaft. It will tell you the length and spline counts inboard and outboard. Then match that up to the parts place. You need a shaft from a SSE or supercharged Bonneville 96-99.

Well I picked one up from a 98 at the salvage yard. Only cost me $20 and that works for me. I tried every shaft carquest sells, as they are my parts supplies, then I tried 2 other parts places, no one got me the correct one. Not sure why. But problem solved now.

Why can't parts stores get stuff like this straight? They have the books with info, yet can't put the right part in the right box.

Wow, that car was gotten cheap. I thought about bidding on it, but was tied up in other things at the time of the June auction.
