Just purchased a 1998 SLE with 97,000 miles - This is my first Bonneville, and I love it so far! Anyhow, it just started making a weird noise when I am braking. You can barely feel it more so on the passenger front, but it also makes a dull creaking noise when the car is almost stopped. I figured it needed brake pads, so I took the wheels off last night, and the pads are practically new, and the rotors look good also. Also makes the same dull creaking noise (sometimes) when you release the brakes to accelerate. It really feels like it is coming from the front brakes, but who knows? Could this be a mount? Struts? Help!
