Filled up my A/C with coolant .... still isnt cool..... whats the hub ub bub ?? :?

What is the high side pressure? Did you clear the Code 66 from the PCM?

I cleared the code. I used the red ****. I filled it on the low pressure side... was I right to do this? the lbig line is the low pressure side right?? Anyways.. it says its got the right psi in it... being in the blue area on the gauge..

It'* tough for me to tell without actual pressures from a set of gauges. A/C is sort of complicated to work on, and you really need more tools than are provided in the conversion kits.

I had the exact same issue with my 93. Everything checked out well, just like yours is. It ended up being that my evaporator coil is plugged and it'* not taking a charge. The pressure reading that you're getting from the guage is indicating the pressure in the hose up to the blockage in the coil. The only fix is to have the evaporator coil replaced.

That explains alot..... no wonder it didnt take a whole lot of kewlent....
By evaporator coil do you mean evap core I dont see coil on gm parts direct.

I would take the car to an experienced A/C shop. It will save you lots of trouble in the end.
