Talking Knock sensor location

does anybody know where the knock sensor location is on a 93 bonneville. The repair manual i have does not show the proper location. i hope i do not have to go to a garage because i can not find it

There should be one in the front near the starter, and another on the rear near the center of the engine.

Series 1 had a single sensor in a different location than the Series 2/3.

IIRC it was either near the oil filter adapter or the flywheel.in 93.

93 has the knock sensor right above the starter

if you are at the front of the vehicle looking into the engine bay it will be on the left. It is almost right above where the oil filter is.


i looked it up in alldata and that'* what its telling me

Sure looks that way Bill. But what I have seen is, it'* in either the front near the starter, and or the rear along the oil pan. So check both locations for a sensor with a single wire going in to it.
