Default Rear Brakes inquiry

Was talkin to my bro earlier in the week and he has a Chrysler Cirrus ( cloud car hee hee ) and his rear brakes are drum but says on Stratus or certain Cirrus model ( I don't remember ) they have rear disk and larger rotors for front in which he will be switchin over to soon.. he will have to change the knuckle, rotors, hubs/spindle for it. I mentioned I wanted rear disc but said it only applies to 00+ bonnies with different chassis. He said to see if the suspension is the same and if it is.. it might fit. I know the body is different but is this true and and are they the same suspension?

the suspension'* are different, not to mention abs computers, lines etc. Cool Idea, but it would not work, Rear brakes only do like 20%of the stopping anyways
