Can't Find EGR
Have '92 SSE. Have owned since new. Books shows EGR on driver side front of engine. I have looked over both manifolds and cannot find an EGR. What is going on here?

I have a Haynes manual.
Reason I'm looking for EGR is intermittently the rpm drop off about 100 rpm and slight rotten egg smell. Still getting same gas mileage as when new and has great power. Of course I'm going on 186,000 miles so I thought it couldn't hurt to replace 02 sensor. That helped, so just to make sure I thought I would clean the EGR. NO EGR. Good.
I have a Haynes manual.

Well that "rotten egg smell" is your O2 Sensor, just like mine! I installed a Bosch O2 last year or so & now it seems that it too has dying on my. I know it'* the O2 on my car as the CAT has been long gone now & replaced with a resonator instead.
As for that EGRLess engine we both have, well, I've been gathering valves & getting the LH exhaust manifold re-welded by a friend to fix mine!
This too shall get fixed when I start rebuilding that 3800 Series II I got stored in another buddy'* garage waiting.

I'm looking around $3000 Cdn for my rebuild & upgrading my 3800 Series II NA to a 3800 Series II SC version instead!
Since I sell most of the parts I need or have friends that are doing the machine work for parts that I sell, my cost relatively cheaper than most others.

Are you going to chase down GTP'* and Kill them.... Well letz just say this Series II SC implant is temperory until I can afford that 1200Hp Twin SC'd V8 & RWD conversion with Big Disc Brakes all around!
This Series II implant I'm not sure yet as to HP output. it all depends on the parts I can afford to put into it after all & availability of them too!
Either way, I would like to achieve in the neighbourhood of about 600HP & have a 12 Sec Quarter mile time or better too! As for chasing cars, well just say GTP'* will not be the main coarse here!
I'm after Vipers & Vettes!
