Looks like the part on the side might be somewhat broken...if that'* the only problem, then just lightly sand it off. Otherwise, duct tape fixes everything

Nice car by the way!! That was my first car, right down to the year and color, and she served me well. Watch for sticks and animals in the road, though. The 92 was the first year of the restyled LeSabre, and the gas lines run down one side, completely unprotected and held up ONLY by a cheap little plastic bolt. They are easily caught. I blew two gas lines that way. AWESOME car overall though. Lotsa pickup, rides really smooth, and it never feels like you are going as fast as you are almost got me in trouble a coupla times. I still miss her sometimes.

I probably wasn't much help, but I loved my buick, just wanted to compliment yours a little.

I've got the same problem. My cousin and I went to the auto yard and saw oen just like it, but we looked deeper and saw that the worn out part is a part of the whole casing for the belt. So there was no way of just replacing the worn out piece. All I could think of was put another peice he hard plastic there, or shape some metal to fix. Something hard would have to be used, along with being smoth so it wont keep wearing the belt away.
