Need Help ASAP!!!
Well today weve been busy trying to install those dash gauges that i bought from ebay. Well before we started the car started fine, now it wont start at all. Got them in fine, and the engine will crank but it wont turn over. The only thing I can think of that may be a problem is that we unplugged the dash piece in the back (obviously its plugged back in now) but the only thing that isnt put back into place is the dimmer switch on the left. We have no clue at all what the problem is, if someone has an idea please let me know thanks.

You need to plug in the headlight (dimmer) switch.
When I pulled mine out a couple people with newer cars like yours told me it wouldn't start w/o it.

Didnt replace the whole cluster, were installing the blue face gauges that overlay the exisiting cluster. before we started everything was fine, now the car wont start. The only thing we did major was unplug the harness from the back of the cluster. This is extremely weird.

You know I never thought to listen for the fuel pump, and in fact you cannot hear it priming when the key is turned like usual, so please enlighten me on this information. What do you mean by VATS?
In lighter news, the blue reverse glow gauges are working brilliantly, to bad the car isnt :?

VATS is the factory security system in your car that uses the resistor chip in the key. To reiderate, it disables both fuel and crank at the PCM level so if the car cranks, that can't be it.
Start with the easy stuff like checking the fuel pump fuse. Up to 95, as far as I can tell, there was a test pin for the fuel pump behind the battery that if given +12v could test for proper operation of the fuel pump. I don't see any such test pin in my 97 manual and figure that your 99 doesn't have one either.
