a/c switches?
 

Hi, i have a 92 bonneville se, and im wondering where the high and low pressure sensor/switches are. Also, is there a diagram on how these sensors are wired?

The low pressure sensor is on the accumulator. Closing the circuit makes the compressor run.

does the computer send some sort of a ground to the compressor? or does the computer have nothing to do with the A/C of this car?

also, is there a A/C clutch relay of some sort?

I'll have to look in the 93 service manual. I'm pretty sure that the computer asks the compressor to turn on. And I believe it does this through the relay that controls the clutch. I believe there is also a high pressure cutout.

Do you have automatic climate control?

nope, i dont have auto climate control. But I seem to have got my air to work again. Is their only one pressure switch? What sensor is the one on the top, near the firewall, the sensor that is connected to the container that "sweats" lol, im using such bad terms.

Yes, LOL.

That is the accumulator. It has the low pressure switch sticking out of the side of the top of it. When the pressure drops low enough, it cuts the compressor off until the pressure returns to normal. The system in your car should cycle on and off as the pressure rises and falls.

The high pressure cutout is for emergencies only.
