A/C ?
My A/C seems to only blow thru the vents at the windshield( cause it to fog up) and at the floor, but not at the vents dirrected at the driver or passeger. It has been hotter then hell down here in Texas as of late and I sure would like to drive in a nice cool car
I took it to a shop and they said it would require ripping out the entire dash to find the problem...any suggestions?

I did the step where I removed the 7 tube connector and slipped 1/8 inch gas line pieces to connect interior tube with the tube outside the connector. The 1.5 inch pieces of tubing worked great. No rattles.
If when you push different buttons there seems to be no change in the positions of vanes in the box, then we're chasing a vacuum source problem.

Many times, the conversion mentioned above will take care of the problem. The hardest part is getting the plastic programmer box opened up, just enough, to slip that vacuum tube connector out of the bottom of the box. You can back out the bolts that hold the plastic programmer box together without completely removing them.

Having removed two programmers in the past couple weeks..
I think...(THINK) it would be easy enough to even take both bolts out and get as much room as possible...then put them back in.

That connector with the colored vac lines going into it needs to be removed by opening up the housing that it is sitting in. Once the connector is clear of the box, you will see a similar set of lines on the backside. You literally cut each line (I did mine one by one) as close as you can to the fron and backside of the connector, then re-connect the two pieces together (in the same order, matching the original lines) with some larger vacuum line. I cut a small piece of line and took it to the auto parts stores. Autozone did not have line small enough but NAPA had the perfect line and was very helpful. Cst 79 cents for a foot of it.
Here is antoher thread were I did a small write-up that may help.
