You have 3 choices then. Do the bypass like I did. Goto a junk yard and find a compressor and change it. Or pull your compressor and buy a new clutch and replace the clutch and put your compressor back on. The bypass is the cheapest and is really easy to do. Now I can replace my clutch when ever I get around to it.

the clutch can be re-adjusted
i've had this done on 4 of my bonneville'* and all 4 where fine after the clutch adjustment.
let me look for the link to the fix.........
