Transmission cooler
From what I have read here the SSEi radiator has both a tranny cooler and oil cooler built in. I also have a external tranny cooler. Does this mean that my tranny fluid is in effect being cooled twice as it circulates through the system? And if so, are there any problems with the tranny fluid being too cool?

no transmission fluid being cool is the best thing you can do...and living in florida is not exactly hgood for transmissions, i highly doubt your trans will ever be too cool...just always make sure that fluid stays bright pink....many a trans have died because of people neglecting them in ahot climate

also, all radiators have a trans cooler...but having an extra one, i dont think it needs to be hooked up to the radiator any more....it is just makin the radiator work a little harder fo no reason...also, how on earth is it possible to have both hooked up anyways?!?

Transmission guy routed the line from the tranny to the radiator and then routed the out line to the external cooler and then back to the tranny.

Being a 94, you should have had the extra cooler from the factory.
The typical fluid flow is from the trans to the cooler, then to the radiator and back to the trans.
In cool climates the radiator works as a preheater for the fluid until it'* up to temp. Then it keeps a constant temperature.

I'm running NO core in my radiator (it'* bypassed due to trans-death) and a 28000 GVWR cooler up front. No issues in the Oregon winter whatsoever. And it carries a full warranty.

I do not have an SSEi... Just a lowly SE.... I added an RV + 5-7000 Lbs towing... I ran it just like you trans guy ran it, also the same way its ran from the factory... After my drive home today as I had to hook the scantool up to it... I found that the trans was running a nice cool 150F.... Down here in FL keeping the trans cool is important
