Transmission Filter and Gasket.
I am trying to find make sure I have the correct numbers for my 96 SE.
What I have found is
AC Delco Parts
24204624: GASKET
24206433: FLTR KIT
The thing that makes me question is that the gasket is $20.99, which makes it more than the filter. Does this gasket need changed? I am positive when I changed the filter and fluid in my 88 the filter came with a gasket through autozone. It was a cork gasket but It seems there was an additional to a rubber gask that was on the transmission already. Maybe the 24204624 is a rubber gasket. I know that the 88 has a different filter I am just trying to remember what all was under there.
Also has anybody heard of RockAuto. So far I have a AC Delco O2 Sensor and the A/T filter in my cart on both GM Parts Direct and RockAuto and here is the totals for each
I could even have the RockAuto have 2 day express shipping and still be cheaper that GM Part Direct.

The GM gasket is re-usable & need not to be replaced unless damaged because of it'* metal reinforcement in the rubber! Don't settle for the cork gasket in the aftermarket kits, as these are far inferior compared to the GM gasket. The cork crap dries out & therefore leaks.
The Filter Kit for the 4T60-E & 4T65-E are the exact same P/N too.
24206433 is the proper P/N for the Trans Filter Kit.
