Default BRAND NEW BELTS TODAY!!!

my belts were worn and cracked SO bad that i knew i was driving on borrowed time...and i wasn't wild about changing them myself because of the motor mount...so i leave in about 30 minutes to get them changed at a trusted mechanic about 1 hour north of where i live. i'm installing GOODYEAR gatorback belts...lifetime warranty... i figured "man, i don't wanna have to change these again!"

mr. bean!

I have the Gatorbacks. If my memory serves me correctly, Gatorbacks are Goodyear belts, or at least made by Goodyear.

Well your poll up above needs to fixed slightly for better clarification as "Gatorback'*" ARE GoodYear belts!
I use OEM because, well, I work for GM & get them cheap.

I'm using a Dayco serpentine belt with good results(I have a bit over 43,000 miles on the replacement belt now). Since I have a Series 1 engine, taking the belt off and on is a simple excercise. I'm also using Dayco radiator hoses as well.

Goodyear does have a non-Gatorback belt. At least they did a few years ago.
