brakes

I'v been trying to bleed my brakes, rr,lr, lf, rf, rr went fast and smooth, lr took about a half hour of brake pedal pumping, now when I got to rf, been at it for an hour and still getting air, tell me that it's something easy !!!

thats a little off, it should be farthest to closest in sequence. RightRear, LeftRear, RightFront, LeftFront. If you're still getting air, you might have air in your master cylinder bore which would require a bench bleed. This can happen if the reservoir went empty and someone depressed the brake pedal. If this is the case, get a bleeding kit, remove the MC, bench bleed it, re install it and rebleed.

Also, just to state the obvious, you ARE checking the reservoir every time you bleed a different wheel right?

thats the way I did it, just wrote it wrong ! and yea the master cylinder did go dry and was pumped that way, so you think I just need to bleed the master cylinder, any easy ways to do that ???

Hah, ok, if it went dry, you now now HAVE to bench bleed it if you want a normal pedal back. like stated before, get a bleeding kit, bench bleed it, reinstall and rebleed. Thats nearly mandatory now that you have air in the bore.

well I did the bench bleed and I keep getting air from the back hole on the master cylinder !! I would guess that means it's bad ? as far as bleeding the ABS I don't think I hae to on a 92
