I mean if your rear brakes are not working properly then your front brakes are under more stress than they are supposed to be. This causes undo stress increasing the heat up front therefore increasing the chance of warping. So no matter what disks you get and front pads you get the rear drums also have to have good pads and have to be in good working order. Easy really.

I actually got in contact with the pres of powerslot here is what he had to say.

"I have successfully crossed that rotor to an existing part number. The
Bonneville and Camaro use the same casting OE. Our part number for the
Bonneville (92-96) will be 8250 PSL & 8250 PSR. I have brought a car in
and
tested it and it is a confirmed fitment. If you are ordering these from
Tirerack.com order them as a 93-97 Camaro.
"

so i guess the people who had 8257 for their bonnies didnt know this now all you guys know so hope this helps. I emailed him for a 100% fit but im sure him saying he brought in a car and it fit isnt bull since they get business and if he lies its a lawsuit

Would those fit on a 97 Bonnie SSEI ?? I have to true my front rotors.. but maybe I'll just replace it with something better all together if it fits.

you should call up powerslot get the number from their site and speak with eric somethin he is the president i think. or just email eric@powerslot.com. i really dont know if there is anything better except for ceramic rotors which cost a wholata money

the 8257 Powerslot rotors have been working fine on my Bonneville for the last 3 months, so I think I have proven they work on a 99 at least.

were any modifications or adjustments necessary to put them on? if so then the 8250 are a better fit since they just pop on no problem

99BonnevilleSE Sep 4, 2002 10:07 PM

They were the exact same size and fitment as my stock rotors. I ordered them to take one for the team and see if they would work, and yes they do.

well based on the email he sent me the 8250 are good for the 92-96 bonneville so i do not know if they are good for the 99 or not but i would not be surprised since those are the newer model

Drifter420 Sep 5, 2002 08:35 AM

Well.. I just got an email back from them and they said it would fit from 92 - 99 including SSEI's.. I just don't know about 300 Canadian for the front pair that it would cost for me ( from the closest place in Hamilton )
