I tried to start the car today after a big storm last night, lots of rain and when I went to start the car just a click, all lights worked but I noticed that the brake pedal was locked in place and I was unable to switch it into any gears.

The battery was replaced about 6 months ago, any ideas of what could be going on??

Any help would greatly be appreciated!

So your service brake was locked in place. . . did you set your parking brake or was it off the whole time?
