Default 97 PCM Wiring Diagram

My friend has a wideband scanned (LM-1) and as offered to help me tune Knight Fire.
However, he was requesting a wiring diagram of the PCM inorder to get the RPM signal off it.

Anyone have one? or know another way to get the RPM signal with the LM-1?

With the LM-1, I would think that you will want to log your rpm signal as well at the very least. It can log in addition to the 02 readings, up to 5 other inputs, as long as its a analog signal and doesn't go above 5 volts and doesn't goes below ground. But more inputs takes more time to hook up. Having your pcm accessable with a wiring diagram of it would help considerably.
Here'* a link to the LM-1

Thanks

Hmmm I'll ask Elmo for some input. He was researching harnesses for a swap and should have the info if the PCM pinning is the same.

The PCM outputs ASCII not voltage. Normally a wideband sensor would connect to something like the A/D connector for a DHP PowrTuner which can log voltage signals along with all the other good stuff.

The 97 PCM is different from later models.

Cheers,

Perfect....

Thanks Foghorn.

Now my PT doesn't have the A/D option.
What about using something like a clamp or something that reads the signals from the spark plugs or something... would/could that read the RPMs?

My Mechanic buddy has a clamp thing that goes around the plug wire to read RPM..I think it'* possible. Is an Aeroforce gauge anything that would work for you?
