Clunking sound in front... Thought it was a flat tire...
I made a really sharp(almost U-turn) right to get on my Mom-in-laws road and it started clunking like a flat tire. I got out and nothings wrong with the tires at all.
It'* happened a couple times after that turning and going straight also. Not all the time though. What could it be? and what can I look for?

What do I look for on all these things?
If I know what to look for it might help me out. I can do the work myself but will probably need to barrow some tools. But I nned to know what i'm looking at first.

Drive around in a circle in a empty parking lot , hard turn left in a circle , hard turn right in a circle , slight acceleration while in the turn ,listen for a cracking or a popping sound around the floor area . If it'* an cv axle shaft , you'll know right away.
You should also check the cv boots and see if they're ripped open .. tell tale sign is lots of grease spitting around them.
