Both Suspension setting lights are off

On my 1997 SSEi, both the suspension, touring and performance (or whatever the two settings are called) setting lights are always off. I searched and found some info that when they are both on it's generally due parts of the suspension being replaced with non-factory parts that don't support it. But I couldn't find out anything about them both being off all the time. My traction control switch, and shift modes work, which I assume are both completely independent of the suspension settings. So anyone know what it is? Something wrong with the computer that controls them possibly?

the LED's could just be burned out.

could it be as simple as non working lights? did you try the adl connector short and blink out error codes?

I have tried pressing one of the buttons and seeing if it made a difference, and it doesn't seem to at all.

Sonoma_zr2,
I'll ask my father about the error codes, he's the car car guy in the family, but I'm not really sure what your talking about

What kind of difference do the two modes make anyway? Does the car drop/raise?

there's an amber LED that lights up the little circle, and a normal bulb that lights up the text.
i doubt both would burn out.

no, it controls a valve in each strut that adjust the firmness of the ride.

Thats a good question about the text, I'm not sure. I'll have to look, but if I remember correctly the text lights up on both, but neither circles light up, but I'm not 100% on that.

unless you are super anal about it, I wouldn't worry about it. The difference is so minimal its a mind game.

I figured the difference probably isn't much, but I wasn't sure. I have had the car for over a year and it's never worked...
