Default So I was wondering....

do I have a bad hub? Been hearing different pitch noises, thought maybe road surfaces, tires...., then when I would go into road dips at highway speeds, the pitch would change :?:

picked up a couple hubs from a 98 that had 60k on them for 50 shipped, thought it was worth a try. Figured I would pull the hub and at least feel test it.

Guess I'll have to replace it anyway

Put the "new" one on, front end actually feels better driving around the block. will know more tomorrow with a road test. I'll probably do the other side tomorrow afternoon. Now I have a T-55 to go with my tool collection.

Then it'* off to pull the right front strut and replacing with another. I've already plugged the donor in to the ccr, error goes away so I know it'* the right strut.

Because that WSS part of the hub came off...doesn't mean it'* bad. They frequently seperate like that when removing. You can put them back together and have them be fine.

Pat and Ben are both running on bearings that seperated.
