Is my transmission dying?
Oh boy *crosses fngers* doooont be breaking...
Ok, I've noticed a new problem. When I'm stopped at a red light or somethign with foot on brake, i feel the tranny vibrate suddenly a few times now and then while I'm stopped. Only happens in Drive with the brake on. No leaks, n o burning or anything, it just does that....

Throttle body. Full tuneup, AND remove it for a thorough cleaning with all sensors removed. Clean the IAC seperately, don't touch the TPS, and clean the MAF sensor filaments GENTLY with rubbing alcohol and a Qtip.
Pay particular attention to scrubbing the back of the throttle plate and IAC passage.

think you might have used a few too many acronyms in there for a newb... so here'* the breakdown:
IAC: Idle air control valve. If you look at the throttle body off of the intake, you'll notice on area that bumps out of the normal round area that air moves through. the do-hicky in there is your idle air control valve. it'* responsible for making sure that the engine gets air when it needs it (when your throttle plate is closed, your engine needs to get air through here).
MAF: mass airflow sensor. This guy is mounted on the top of the throttle body, and is typically rectangular, and held in place with 3 or 4 small bolts. this tells your PCM (powertrain control module) how much air is moving into your motor.
TPS: Throttle position sensor. This guy tells the PCM how open (or closed) your throttle is. if you look where the throttle cables come to the throttle body, follow the axis that they rotate about, and on the other side of the throttle body, you'll find your TPS.
On the other hand, you could just follow the wires that go to your throttle body. there'* three of them, and based on the descriptions above, you should be able to find them easily...
