I lost all fan function in my 1999 SE and replaced both the blower fan and the resistor.... Now I have no high fan speed. It has to be something else.

Yes, that is the Blower Resistor... At the dealership I used to work at, we regularly replaced them with the motors

Like I said, I changed the resistor, and initially, I had no blower fan. The next day, I had a working fan, but no high speed. That is why I'm asking what else it might be...

Ha!!! Read that one wrong at 4+ in the morning... wow too late to be giving advice i think lol
well typically speaking... unless you were given one of the 5-10% of defective items from auto parts stores, the only thing that could cause the problem your having would be a wire/connection problem, the motor, resistor, or switch in the ac control assembly (usually not the problem but i have seen it once or twice ;) ) other than those 4 i cannot think of anything that could be the problem with it only missing high speed |
