I was sitting in the drive-through at Wendy's last night waiting for my Baconator, when I started hearing a clattering sound from under the '98 LeSabre. I could only hear it at idle, and only in Drive...

In a panic, I went through the noise checklist in my mind...bearing noise? Rod knock? Bad harmonic balancer?

Put her up on the ramps this morning to check it out...

Just a loose dogbone mount, whew!!!

Some jacking, some wrenching, and we're as good as new. :D

Glad to hear it was nice and small.

FYI S2's haven't seen the typical HB failure like the S1's. Maybe it's because of the aging, overall it's not very common yet. (even on my 200K + balancer)
