What'* up everyone.

I put a rebuild in my 95 SE. The motor is great and runs fine. The problem is around 45mph, as the front end starts to vibrate. It does so all the way to 75mph. I know that the whole front end of the car was ripped out for the motor, so something was reinstalled incorrectly. It did not do this before the previous motor failed. I balanced the front tires resulting in no change.

I'm not very familiar with steering/suspension items, but I know that all of those components were taken out for the motor.

Any ideas as to where I should start??

no suspension parts should have been messed with in the swap
did you make the swap or a shop??
I'd take it back if the shop did it
or else check your basics lugnuts
also i could be a bad hub assembly,

I just started driving it last night, and I've got everyone'* brain working right now so we can tackle it later.

I figured I would pick the best brains....

If the motor was dropped down rather than lifted out then some suspension parts had to be disconnected or removed. Anytime the strut-to-knuckle bolts are removed you should get an alignment unless time was taken to mark the struts prior to removal. Your description seems very familiar as I had one heck of a wobble starting at 48MPH but only under acceleration. Coasting was fine. I wanted to change the struts before going for an alignment so I wouldn't have to align twice. As I reassembled the front end, I did my best to eye up the alignment. It was kind of scary ride to the alignment shop but the wobble was gone. After the alignment though, it was smooth sailing.

This is not the only cause of a wobble though.

Yah, the motor was lifted out, so none of the suspension stuff was taken apart.

The car was put on a flatbed twice. We're thinking something may have happened there. However, all of the suspension components are all original for the most part. Will probably tackle all of that next.

The vibration isn't as bad at it was, and only occurs at around 40 to 80mph. Defenitely something in the suspension......we'll find it!!! And she lives on!!!
