Default performance/touring ride buttons

For quite some time, on my 1995 Bonnie SSE, the performance and touring ride buttons on the center console remain on and can't be toggled off. The traction control button does work and I get the idiot light that says so. It'* not a big deal to me if get them to work...just wondering if this is an easy fix or could it mean trouble lies ahead. Thanks

Mr. Efficiency strikes again.

The only thing I'd add is that CCR is the worst (from a reliability standpoint) idea GM had in this decade. Most people can't afford the replacement struts, and you really don't want us to tell you how much they are.

that is if you can even find them

ditch the CCR and keep the ELC

Only real advice Foote gave me when I was going to look at my 95 was about the CCR lights both being on when I started the car. The buttons weren't there...instead it had the blanks....bought the car.

Bill...Andrew...something going on here? Bill you in some kind of race to be the first to respond?

Check out those links above they have prices if i'm not mistaken. Rear ones are easy to do, fronts are a lil more work.

Google "CCR strut" or something like that. GOOD LUCK! I've seen them occasionally, but they're damn hard to find, and forget the wrecker. You could buy them new ($300-600 if I recall at the CHEAPEST) and they could fail next month.

Most members that have working systems can't tell the difference. I rode shotgun in a 98SSEi from here, and couldn't tell myself. It'* not worth it.
