Anyone know the difference between Monroe Reflex struts?
I found a store that has Monroe Reflex's (confirmed by part #, box and label on struts) but before I make my purchase which would be best and what is the difference between these two part #'s?
931799 (which is what they have) and 931798 (listed in WillWren's ELC struts write up). Also, my car has the standard suspension (non-air ride) from the factory. Can I use Reflex air struts, setup with a valve stem in a hidden location for manual control of the psi? |
Anyone?

If they have the ELC Reflex I want to talk to you Blue Eyes  And just look at how I adapted my SE to Rear Air struts... Works good ;) __________________ Best Car Insurance | Auto Protection Today | FREE Trade-In Quote |

Works good ;) They quoted me $51 apiece including shipping, and $40 apiece before shipping. You may not have the shipping charges as they are in Florida, but I can't recall at the moment where exactly in Florida. |
Ahhh ok... They do not have the ELC I don't think... and I think Know exactly what you are talking about... Located in Miami right?
They do have the regular Reflex strut for the Rear( Non Air ).... I have been watching them.... I have thought about getting the Monroe Matic Plus rear air struts for the 91 LE... I really want the Reflex tho  __________________ Best Car Insurance | Auto Protection Today | FREE Trade-In Quote |

I really want the Reflex tho  I really need new struts, but after spending $650 for new tires, brake rotors, and NGK TR-6's I found I need a new set of Belden Max's -the #1 wire escaped the front plug wire retainer and the cooling fan made two pieces of it. :x $700 in one weekend is a little rich for my taste's so I'll probably hold off for another 2-3 weeks before I do the struts (probably will have them done when I put the new rims on). |
Know what you mean... The struts on my LE are DOA... I can't wait till I can get new struts on all the way around ;)
