Fuel Pump...
Hey all. I think my fuel pump has just bit the dirt. I was on my way to work, and as I was accelerating into the parking-lot; It just died. It just stalled-out on me. Luckily enough, I was able to coast it into a parking-spot, but I don't know where to go from here. All electrical is working properly, and the car cranks, but it just won't turn-over. Even when I give it a little gas, nothing happens. I need the car by tommorrow night, so if anyone has any quick-fixes they could offer me, that would be most appreciated.

Can you hear the fuel pump when you first turn the key on? If not, check fuses. Do your power windows, and locks work?

No, I don't have a voltmeter, but I have a 'Jump-Box', and it didn't help at all when I hooked it up. Yes, as far as the electrical system goes, everything works. Power windows, door locks, radio, windshield-wipers, etc... I hear a buzz that lasts maybe all of two-seconds when I first turn the key, before I turn on the engine. Everything is functioning normally, except of course, the fact that it won't start. That'* what I don't understand. I am so lost... Thanks guys for the help so far.

We need to determine if you're getting fuel & spark. I like to use a spare plug to check for spark. Just put one of the 3 front plug wires on the spare plug & rest the base of the plug against anything metal on the motor. Look for spark while someone turns the key. Check for spark on all 3 front cylinders.
You can check for fuel pressure at the schrader valve on the fuel rail. Remove the cap & press the center of the valve. Don't spray yourself in the face with gasoline. Put rags around the valve and position your hands so the fuel can't spray all over you. Key can be off while doing this test.

I'm starting to wonder now, he says he can hear the fuel pump prime. Only thing left would be check for spark. Then the fuel injectors. Yes no?
