nope the way the door is made It wont alow for the window to go down. I think that is is a safety measure also, you have to remember we do drive family cars

Not unless you can repeal several laws of physics and one or two of geometry. The glass won't fit all the way into the door while still leaving room for the other supporting hardware.

Y'know, I _think_ your question is actually covered somewhere in the service manual, but I don't know exactly where I saw it. I think I came across a paragraph one day that said something like "rear glass cannot lower fully into door due to clearance problems" or something like that.

Every now and then you come across comments like those that are tossed in to address frequent customer complaints or questions that the service guys hear often. If they actually bother to fill out and return those reader comment cards in the back of the manuals to report it (e.g. "You should put something in the book about how it's normal for the rear glass to stop halfway down"), sometimes there'll be notes put in future editions to address issues like that.

When i fix my drivers rear window, i'll take pictures, just to prove it if you don't believe me. I don't even think the gearing will go any further then it already does looking at my spare panel/track.

I'm curious - do the rear windows in the newer bonnies go down all the way?
