Default Sunroof!!!

It doesn't work like it used to. When I hit the button on the up side it opens fine, to closed it I have to hold the bottom side button, to have it closed completetly then i have to press it in little bits so it closeds evenly with the roof. If I hold for to long the up side button, to open, it will open but when it gets to the end a sound of crackink happens, and it'* loud I havet to hit the down side button to stop the sound.

In another words is there a way to reset the sunroof, mechanical system? I guess the alignment it'* off, It opens and closes but not like it used to, one touch button, to open and one touch to closed.

I thank you for helping me...

Yes, it is not synchronized properly. I'll look at the procedure to see how simple it is.

Probably a good idea to have the dealer do it. Both the track and motor may need to be synchronized, and it is pretty complicated. This means you have to drop the headliner to do it.

If you want to do it, you need detailed instructions in front of you, located in the factory service manual. Do you have access to the manual?
