Default No power to wipers and windshield washer

Hello all,
I have a 93 Bonneville SE 4-door and it has been the best car I have ever owned. 6+ years now of driving 100,000 kmh and minimal issues. I do now have one problem though that has me totally stumped! The power to my windshield wipers and the washer squirter stopped working out of the blue. I tried the following:

1. Checked the fuse under the driver side
2. Replaced the wiper motor

Still no go! Is there a fuse somewhere i'm missing? FYI: Everything else works perfect no issues. HELP!

PS: Great to see a forum dedicated to Bonnie owners!

Cheers

there are fuses under the MAXIFUSE cover on the firewall under the hood.

not sure if any of them control the wipers, but its worth taking a look.

Default hey

Thanks for the reply. I checked the MAXI fuses and none control the washer/wipers. I checked a wiring diagram and all it shows is the diagram going from a 25A fuse on the fuse box under the steering wheel. I took out the fuse and checked the connection with a volt meter while the wiper/washers were turned on and it indicated there is no current at all to the circuit. there is a thicker brown wire going to the 25A fuse. It disappears under the dash. I cannot see it under the hood anywhere.

Any further suggestions??

Thanks in advance

not sure where it is but there should also be a relay.. and it also may be a problem with your wiper switch itself or the wiper switch connection..

With the key on & the wiper switch on high check for 12 volts at terminal A (Purple wire) of connector C2 going to the wiper motor module. Place pos meter lead on terminal A & neg meter lead to neg battery terminal.

If you don't have 12 volts then remove fuse #25 & check for power between each terminal & ground. One terminal should have 12 volts.

If you have 12 volts then move the neg meter lead to terminal C (black wire) of the same connector. If you no longer have 12 volts then you need to follow the black wire to ground G100 & clean the connection.

Let us know what you find.
