Catalytic Converter Replacement
I need a new cat since the exhaust shop said the crack in the pipe before my cat was caused by it getting clogged and heating the exhaust to much. Sounds logical to me.
The problem is that they use the SAME Catalytic Converter for EVERY car the have in the shop. And it not stainless steel. So can someone point me in the right direction for a new converter (ZZP???) I don't need anything that is fancy or high performance, just a stock-like converter that is stainless.

Make sure to go under the section "Stainless Steel" You can get a high flow magnaflow from them for like 50 bucks.

I just went out and wrapped a piece of paper width wise around the pipe and it ended up being about a 8" diameter. I also have the sport exhaust on this car (N10 I believe it is called?)
Can someone help point me in the right direction of what cat to order? I really have no knowledge on exhausts and I am pretty clueless. I see the Magnaflow is the way to go probably, and on multiple searches I have come up with the Magnaflow part number 91006. Can anyone confirm this is the correct part number?

TTT, measured again and if I wrap something around it, it ends up being about 7 3/4 - 8 inches around.
How do you even convert that to find the pipe size???

diameter radius circumference calculator.
But I wouldn't base a purchase on a piece of paper. Get some calipers or a micrometer and measure it properly.
