Default Shakey ride..

well now that my rims are on and everything ...whenever i got up to 55mph + the steering wheel (only) got a bit shakey... so i took it to discount tire and had them balance the front rims, ..so they did. Well..that did not fix the problem b/c it still gets shakey at those speeds. The alignment seems fine.. so i dunno. Can anyone else here assist me further? ..thanks.

When you switched from the 17'* to the 18'* did the overall diameter of the wheel/tire combo change at all? if it did then id deffinately have an alignment done.
Why didnt you have the shop balance the rears while they were at it? they could be your problem too i believe?

well i believe if my rear wheels weren't balanced, then my seat would be bumpy...but it'* not... it'* only the steering wheel so i'm guessing its the front wheels/alignment.

Brakes maybe? It might be a bad rotor, and if it'* a lil tight etc you might get a lil pulsing, specially at higher speeds. Previous owner of my baby just threw on a new rotor on one side, and didnt finish it, so it pulsed and i had it surfaced (for free i might add). But the old rotor is on it'* las rotation, so if it goes, ill NEED to get some slotted rotors from DP.
