Spark Plug recommendation
Hey all,
I am changing my plugs on the weekend, have a stock 1997 SSEi - no mods. The car normally runs hot and I live in Indiana where is does get hot in the summer.
What spark plugs would everyone recommend I put in the car? Should I go with ACDelco, NGK or Champion? Someone here mentioned that the TR55 NGK plugs run cooler, would that be a good choice? Any ideas would help me.
Thanks a bunch,
Andrew

they're a good plug, and you really don't need to worry about colder ranges until you start modding...

I have heard it said that platinum plugs should *not* be used in an SSEi ... but I've never tried it myself (since I haven't owned an SSEi), and I don't know the technical reasons for that recommendation. But you really can't go wrong with the bone stock AC Delcos!

don't go for bosch'*! I had to replace them because they would misfore after a 2,000 miles. I put autolite'* in after them and they work great!

You should see my Bosch platinum single electrode plugs after 25k miles. On two of them the platinum center electrode is gone, there is just a hole at the end of the insulator. Strange but true.

thanks everyone, I stuck with the AC Delco Rapidfires. They cost me $4.19 each at Autozone.
The old ones I pulled out had done 41K miles, and were still great.
